Job Overview:

We seek a detail-oriented and analytical Online Supply Chain Optimization Analyst to join our team remotely. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations through advanced data analysis, optimization techniques, and strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, data analysis, and optimization strategies and a proven track record of implementing solutions that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Analyze supply chain data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
   • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into supply chain performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
   • Perform root cause analysis to address supply chain issues and recommend corrective actions.
2. Optimization and Strategy Development:
   • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to optimize supply chain processes, including inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics planning.
   • Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
3. Supply Chain Modeling:
   • Build and refine supply chain models to simulate various scenarios and assess the impact of different strategies.
   • Use simulation and optimization software to evaluate potential changes and their effects on the supply chain network.
   • Provide data-driven recommendations for improving supply chain design and operations.
4. Vendor and Partner Management:
   • Analyze supplier performance and collaborate with vendors to improve delivery times, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
   • Manage relationships with key supply chain partners to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements.
   • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
5. Process Improvement:
   • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline supply chain operations and enhance efficiency.
   • Lead or participate in initiatives to reduce lead times, optimize inventory levels, and improve supply chain agility.
   • Conduct regular reviews of supply chain processes to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
6. Technology Integration:
   • Leverage technology to enhance supply chain capabilities, including implementing and optimizing supply chain management software and tools.
   • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and integrate innovative solutions into supply chain operations.
   • Provide training and support to team members on new technologies and tools.
7. Communication and Collaboration:
   • Communicate complex data and insights in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
   • To ensure seamless supply chain operations, collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance.
   • Participate in regular meetings and provide updates on supply chain performance and optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Proven experience in supply chain analysis, optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and supply chain management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Strong understanding of supply chain concepts, including inventory management, demand forecasting, logistics, and procurement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with supply chain modeling and simulation techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
