Job Overview:

As an Online Training Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive e-learning programs that meet the needs of a diverse audience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Instructional Design and Development:
    • Develop and implement innovative instructional materials, including e-learning modules, interactive content, and multimedia resources.
    • Apply instructional design theories and best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  2. Content Creation:
    • Design and develop a variety of training materials, such as online courses, webinars, simulations, and assessments.
    • Create clear and compelling course objectives, instructional strategies, and evaluation methods.
    • Utilize authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS) to build and deliver training content.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage multiple training development projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, set project milestones, and track progress.
    • Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  4. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct thorough reviews and testing of training materials to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications.
    • Gather and analyze feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve training content and delivery.
    • Implement best practices for usability and accessibility in all online training programs.
  5. Technology Integration:
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in e-learning and instructional design.
    • Integrate new tools and technologies into training programs to enhance learning experiences and outcomes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to e-learning platforms and tools.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and department heads, to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
    • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to support the adoption and use of new training programs.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and learners to ensure clarity and understanding.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis, assessments, and feedback.
    • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance training content and delivery methods.
    • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing online training programs, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design models and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web technologies is a plus.
