Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Online Training Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Online Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our online training programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Online Training Program Development:
- Design, develop, and enhance online training courses and programs that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences, incorporating multimedia elements such as videos, interactive simulations, and assessments.
- Platform Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the online learning management system (LMS), ensuring it is up-to-date and functioning smoothly.
- Monitor user activity and engagement within the LMS, generating reports and analytics to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Project Management:
- Led and managed multiple online training projects simultaneously, ensuring they were completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, and content creators, to ensure seamless execution of training programs.
- Training Delivery and Support:
- Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing any issues or questions related to online training content or technical difficulties.
- Facilitate live training sessions, webinars, and virtual workshops as needed, ensuring a high-quality and interactive learning experience.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate the effectiveness of online training programs through feedback surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for program enhancements and updates.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in online learning and training.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of instructional designers, e-learning developers, and other training professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career growth for team members.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and other key personnel, to ensure alignment of training programs with organizational needs.
- Present reports and updates on training program performance, progress, and impact to stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure that all online training programs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain documentation and records related to training programs, including course materials, participant data, and certifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in online training program management, instructional design, or e-learning development.
- Strong proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with gamification and interactive learning technologies.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools for assessing training effectiveness.
