Overview:

We seek a dedicated and skilled Online Training Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote position is ideal for individuals passionate about designing, developing, and delivering effective online training programs. As an Online Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the learning experience of our employees and clients by creating engaging and educational content that meets organizational goals and learner needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:
   • Design and develop comprehensive online training programs, including course content, multimedia materials, and assessments.
   • Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
   • Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and training requirements for various teams and departments.
2. Content Creation:
   • Develop and produce high-quality training materials such as eLearning modules, video tutorials, and interactive simulations.
   • Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
   • Work with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.
3. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
   • Manage and maintain the LMS, including course uploads, user management, and learner progress tracking.
   • Monitor and analyze learner engagement and performance data to assess the effectiveness of training programs.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the LMS to ensure smooth operation and user experience.
4. Training Delivery:
   • Facilitate live virtual training sessions, webinars, and workshops as needed.
   • Support and guide learners during and after training, addressing any questions or concerns.
   • Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and continuously incorporate feedback to improve content and delivery methods.
5. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple training projects simultaneously, completing them on time and within budget.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, set project milestones, and deliver high-quality training solutions.
   • Prepare and present reports on training progress, outcomes, and ROI to stakeholders.
6. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in online training and instructional design.
   • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of training programs.
   • Solicit feedback from learners and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience designing and delivering online training programs, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an easily understandable manner.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with graphic design software and video editing tools.
• Knowledge of SCORM and other eLearning standards.
• Certification in instructional design or a related field (e.g., ATD, CPTD).
