Job Overview:
The Advertising Research Analyst will conduct in-depth research to understand advertising trends, campaign performance, and audience engagement. This role involves analyzing data from multiple advertising channels, identifying key trends, and delivering actionable insights that guide the organization’s advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, knowledge of advertising methodologies, and the ability to work independently within a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advertising Trend Analysis:
- Research advertising trends across various media, including digital, social media, print, and television.
- Identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and opportunities for the company to optimize advertising efforts.
- Campaign Performance Evaluation:
- Analyze the performance of advertising campaigns across different channels to determine effectiveness.
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign success, identify areas for improvement, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and analyze data from various advertising platforms, including Google Ads, social media channels, and other digital marketing tools.
- Use statistical analysis and data mining techniques to interpret large datasets and uncover insights into advertising effectiveness.
- Audience Insights and Segmentation:
- Develop audience profiles, segment consumer groups, and analyze their behaviors to understand their engagement with advertising content.
- Provide insights into audience preferences, motivations, and demographics to help optimize ad targeting and creative development.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Reporting and Presentation:
- Prepare detailed research reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including senior management and marketing teams.
- Present research findings clearly and concisely, highlighting key insights, trends, and recommendations for action.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitors' advertising activities, strategies, and creative approaches to stay informed about market dynamics.
- Provide competitive intelligence reports that help the organization stay ahead of industry trends and adjust advertising strategies accordingly.
- Innovation and Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve research processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance advertising analysis and insight generation.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in advertising research, marketing analysis, or a related field is essential. Experience with both traditional and digital advertising channels is also necessary.
- Advertising Knowledge: Strong understanding of advertising principles, campaign metrics, and marketing strategies across various media platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, SPSS, R, or Python is required.
- Research Expertise: Experience designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research projects, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex findings clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple research initiatives simultaneously and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with advertising platforms, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
