Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Analytics Initiatives:
    Led and managed a team of data analysts responsible for conducting deep analysis of key business metrics. Youโ€™ll develop and implement analytics frameworks to drive data-driven decisions, ensuring consistency and quality across all reporting and analytical outputs.
  2. Data Strategy and Execution:
    Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies that align with business goals. This involves identifying critical business questions, framing them as analytic problems, and delivering actionable insights to solve them.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    Provide leadership and direction to a high-performing analytics team. Ensure team members have the skills and tools to deliver exceptional analysis and insights. Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  4. Stakeholder Management:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, finance, and sales, to identify business needs and opportunities. Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions are central to the business.
  5. Advanced Analytics and Modeling:
    To drive key business decisions, utilize advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis. You'll develop forecasting models to predict future trends and identify opportunities for optimization.
  6. Business Intelligence (BI) Tool Mastery:
    You must be proficient in using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms. You will lead the creation and maintenance of dashboards and data visualizations that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    Implement processes and workflows that improve data quality and enhance the efficiency of reporting and analysis functions. Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in the analytics field and introduce best practices to the team.
  8. Data Governance:
    Ensure data governance policies are adhered to and maintain the integrity and accuracy of all analytics processes. Work closely with IT and data management teams to ensure data is collected, stored, and used securely and ethically.
  9. Performance Metrics and Reporting:
    Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop standardized reporting to measure and communicate the effectiveness of business strategies. Your insights will help shape the organizationโ€™s strategy and ensure continued growth and success.
  10. Support for Strategic Decisions:
    Support senior leadership by providing in-depth reports, presentations, and recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis. You will contribute to strategic decision-making by presenting your findings concisely and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and others.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large datasets and data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
  • Experience with advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling tools (R, Python, SAS, etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Experience with marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and lifecycle analysis.
