Position Overview: We seek an experienced and proactive Remote Benefits Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of our employee benefits programs. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our benefits offerings align with the companyโ€™s strategic objectives, enhance employee satisfaction, and comply with relevant regulations. This is a full-time remote position offering an annual salary of $132,534.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Benefits Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with organizational goals and employee needs.
    • Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure our benefits packages remain competitive and attractive.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align benefits strategies with overall business objectives.
  2. Program Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day management of all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other ancillary benefits.
    • Ensure all benefits programs are effectively communicated to employees, including creating and distributing benefits materials and managing the benefits portal.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of benefits programs, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  3. Compliance and Administration:
    • Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA requirements.
    • Manage the annual benefits open enrollment process, including coordinating with insurance carriers, preparing enrollment materials, and conducting employee information sessions.
    • Address and resolve any benefits-related issues or inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelorโ€™s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, as well as an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)), is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits management, with a strong understanding of employee benefits programs and related regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing benefits programs and working with benefits vendors and insurance carriers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in benefits administration software and tools, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
