About the Role: We seek a skilled and motivated Remote Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of data management and reporting, and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. This role is critical in helping our organization make informed, data-driven decisions to drive growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Analyze large datasets from various sources, including internal databases, external systems, and market research.
   • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
   • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets to support strategic decision-making.
   • Create comprehensive data visualizations that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
2. Data Management:
   • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular validation and cleansing processes.
   • Design and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
   • Collaborate with IT and database administrators to manage data storage, retrieval, and reporting systems.
3. Business Insights and Strategy:
   • Partner with business units to understand their data needs and develop tailored BI solutions.
   • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business strategy and operational improvements.
   • Prepare and present reports and findings to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
4. Technical Expertise:
   • Utilize BI tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to build and maintain dashboards and reports.
   • Apply statistical techniques and data modeling to solve complex business problems and forecast trends.
   • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and business intelligence and data analysis best practices.
5. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple BI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of reports and dashboards.
   • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a Business Intelligence Analyst role or similar position, with a strong track record of delivering data-driven insights and solutions.
• Proficiency in BI tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and manipulating data.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and visualization.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
• Experience in a remote work environment, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
