Position Overview:

We seek a talented and analytical Remote Business Intelligence Analyst to join our client's data team. The ideal candidate will transform data into actionable insights, create data visualizations, and support strategic decision-making within the organization. As a BI Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions that enable them to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with organizational stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that drive decision-making.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and develop data models to support analytics initiatives.
• Develop, test, and implement data visualizations communicating key insights and metrics to business users.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track performance against targets.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity within BI platforms.
• Perform data validation and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation related to data models, BI reports, and dashboards.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to educate business users on BI tools and data interpretation.
• Stay informed of the latest BI trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that the organization utilizes cutting-edge technology.
• Assisted in developing data governance practices and ensured compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests and provide insights to stakeholders as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms.
• Experience with data modeling, data visualization, and creating interactive dashboards.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with data.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with data governance practices and data privacy regulations.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
• Business analysis certification, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), is advantageous.
• Experience working in finance, retail, or healthcare industries is a plus.
