- Ensure alignment between documented diagnoses and clinical indicators
- Apply knowledge of DRG optimization and clinical validation to support proper reimbursement
- Work with ICD-10-CM, MS-DRG, APR-DRG, and other classification systems
- Participate in quality assurance audits to uphold documentation standards
- Report findings and trends to CDI leadership for system-wide improvement

- CCDS or CDIP certification is highly desirable
