Job Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Remote Cloud Service Delivery Manager to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Service Delivery Management: Lead and manage the delivery of cloud services to clients, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and high-quality performance standards.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, understanding their needs, and providing proactive solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of cloud service delivery, including provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud environments.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a remote team of cloud engineers and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud service delivery processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Incident and Problem Management: Coordinate responses to service disruptions, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud services.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of cloud service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all cloud services comply with relevant regulations, standards, and protocols.
- Budget Management: Manage budgets related to cloud service delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT service delivery, with at least 3 years in cloud services management.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS) models.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire remote teams, manage cross-functional collaborations, and achieve organizational goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and ITIL frameworks.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of client satisfaction and foster long-term client relationships.
