Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role is integral to our Human Resources department, focusing on managing and enhancing our compensation and benefits programs to ensure they align with industry standards and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive salary surveys and market research to benchmark our compensation practices against industry standards.
    • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide actionable insights for salary adjustments, promotions, and new hire offers.
    • Assist in designing and implementing compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while maintaining internal equity.
  2. Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
    • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefit programs based on employee feedback, market trends, and organizational needs.
    • Collaborate with benefits vendors and third-party administrators to ensure the efficient delivery and management of benefits services.
  3. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits, including FLSA, ERISA, and ACA.
    • Prepare and present compensation and benefits metrics reports, including cost analysis, utilization rates, and employee satisfaction.
    • Assist in conducting internal and external audits to verify the accuracy and compliance of compensation and benefits practices.
  4. Program Development and Communication:
    • Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about compensation and benefits programs, including new policies, changes, and enhancements.
    • Designed and delivered training sessions and workshops on compensation and benefits topics to HR staff and managers.
    • Support the creation of employee handbooks and other documentation related to compensation and benefits policies.
  5. Data Management and Analysis:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee compensation and benefits data records in HR information systems.
    • Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in compensation and benefits offerings.
    • Utilize analytical tools and techniques to support strategic decision-making and improve the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead and participate in special projects related to compensation and benefits, such as system implementations, policy reviews, and program evaluations.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of compensation and benefits initiatives.
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to meet project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, compensation management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) are a plus.
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking tools and salary survey platforms.
  • Knowledge of global compensation and benefits practices is advantageous.
