Role Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Compliance Analyst to ensure our client's organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Compliance Analyst will oversee compliance programs, assess risk, and maintain the company’s ethical and legal standards. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Compliance Activities: Regularly monitor and assess company practices, ensuring that all departments follow industry regulations and internal standards.
- Policy Development and Maintenance: Assist in developing, updating, and implementing company policies and procedures to align with current regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective measures to minimize risks.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities. Keep stakeholders informed on regulatory changes and their potential impact on business operations.
- Investigate Issues: Address and investigate potential compliance violations or concerns and work with relevant teams to rectify discrepancies.
- Training and Education: Help develop and deliver compliance-related training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities, including audits, training sessions, and investigations.
- Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Serve as the point of contact with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure smooth compliance audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is highly desirable. A relevant certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) is also highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably within the financial services or related industry.
- Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of compliance regulations, standards, and industry best practices, including experience with GDPR, SOX, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and accurately to ensure that all compliance tasks are completed effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex regulatory information clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to assess situations quickly and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using compliance software tools and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity.
