Naukri Mitra, a prominent recruitment agency, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Remote Compliance and Risk Analyst for our client. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to work remotely, helping organizations mitigate risk and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of risk management principles, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks and will be responsible for maintaining a substantial risk and compliance culture across the organization.
Role Overview:
As a Remote Compliance and Risk Analyst, you will assess, monitor, and manage compliance and risk-related matters within the organization. You will work closely with different business units to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies while mitigating operational, financial, and regulatory risks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the development and implementation of risk management strategies and enhancing the organization's compliance program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Monitoring: To mitigate legal and regulatory risks, the organization should continuously monitor and assess compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Risk Assessment: Perform regular assessments to identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and exposures. Develop and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Policy Development: I will assist in developing, implementing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay current on regulatory changes and requirements to ensure the organization's policies and practices remain compliant. Advise stakeholders on regulatory developments and their potential impact.
- Compliance Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance and risk reports summarizing findings, key issues, and recommended actions. Present these reports to senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate compliance breaches or incidents, determine root causes, and work with relevant teams to develop remediation plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance and risk-related training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of compliance and risk management throughout the organization.
- Third-Party Risk Management: Assess and manage compliance and risk concerns related to third-party vendors and partners, including conducting due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
- Internal Audits: I support internal audit activities, including preparing documentation, assisting auditors, and addressing audit findings. I also conduct regular internal reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Risk Mitigation Strategies: Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring that the organization's exposure to operational, financial, and regulatory risks is minimized.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including policies, procedures, audit reports, and regulatory filings.
- Incident Response: Act as a key member of the incident response team, assisting in the identification, reporting, and management of compliance incidents and violations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a compliance or risk management role, preferably in a regulated industry such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles. Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 31000, COSO, or NIST is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance and risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk, identify issues, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to review complex processes and documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Certifications: Certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or similar certifications are a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, focusing on building strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, or other relevant standards.
- Risk Management Tools: Experience using risk management software and tools to identify, assess, and manage risks across different business units.
- Incident Response Experience: Experience responding to compliance incidents, conducting investigations, and preparing detailed incident reports.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and identify trends related to compliance and risk, providing actionable insights for improving the organization's risk profile.
- Audit Experience: Experience with internal or external audit processes, including preparing documentation and responding to audit findings.
