Job Summary:
We seek a meticulous and proactive Remote Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Compliance Coordinator will be pivotal in ensuring our organization adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position demands high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance Management:
- Monitor and interpret changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure organizational adherence.
- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date with current regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of compliance-related documentation.
- Generate and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- Track and document compliance issues, including investigations and corrective actions taken.
- Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance-related topics, ensuring understanding and adherence to policies.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding compliance matters and internal controls.
- Internal Controls and Risk Management:
- Collaborate with various departments to implement and monitor internal controls that prevent and detect non-compliance.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating compliance risks and recommending improvements to mitigate these risks.
- Communication and Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance compliance efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and integrate relevant practices into the organization's compliance framework.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CCEP, CISA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field. Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information.
