Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in criminal justice, legal studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a transcriptionist, preferably in a legal or criminal justice setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in transcription software, legal document formatting, and tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant platforms.
• Typing Speed: Exceptional typing speed of at least 70 words per minute with high accuracy.
• Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with legal and criminal justice terminology and processes.
