Position Overview:
Naukri Mitra is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join our client's team in a fully remote capacity. As a Remote Cyber Intelligence Analyst, you will be critical in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats, performing in-depth analysis, and providing actionable intelligence to protect the organization from potential risks. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cyber Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze cyber threat intelligence data to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Utilize a wide range of open-source and proprietary intelligence tools to gather information about emerging cyber threats.
  2. Incident Investigation and Response: Conduct thorough investigations of cybersecurity incidents and breaches. Perform digital forensics and root cause analysis to identify the origin and impact of security incidents.
  3. Threat Intelligence Sharing: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as other cybersecurity professionals, industry groups, and government agencies, to exchange information about ongoing threats and vulnerabilities.
  4. Intelligence Reporting: Create timely, detailed, actionable intelligence reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders. Provide situational awareness and intelligence summaries that highlight critical issues and trends.
  5. Risk Assessment and Vulnerability Identification: Assess the organization's cybersecurity posture to identify gaps and potential risks. Evaluate current security measures and recommend improvements to minimize risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be considered instead of a formal degree.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in cyber threat intelligence or incident response roles.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools, and various cybersecurity tools used for threat detection and analysis.
