Job Overview
Naukri Mitra seeks an experienced and dynamic Remote Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will be critical in safeguarding our organization by designing, implementing, and managing cybersecurity awareness and training programs for our employees. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in developing comprehensive training initiatives that ensure our staff is well-versed in recognizing cybersecurity risks and implementing best practices to protect organizational assets. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Implement Training Programs: Create and manage comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training programs that educate employees on potential threats, compliance requirements, best practices, and appropriate responses to cybersecurity incidents.
• Assess Current Security Knowledge: Regularly assess employees' cybersecurity awareness levels and identify training needs. Based on the assessment results, develop customized training modules.
• Create Engaging Learning Materials: Develop high-quality content such as presentations, videos, e-learning modules, quizzes, and gamified learning exercises that simplify complex cybersecurity concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with Departments: Partner with cross-functional teams to assess specific departmental cybersecurity requirements and ensure targeted training initiatives are implemented.
• Simulate Phishing Campaigns: Conduct phishing simulation exercises and social engineering tests to gauge employees' awareness, measure their response to simulated threats, and determine areas requiring improvement.
• Analyze and Report Metrics: Track and report training effectiveness and employee progress. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable feedback.
• Incident Response Training will educate employees on incident response processes and ensure they know how to report and manage incidents efficiently according to company policies.
• Promote a Culture of Cybersecurity: Act as a cybersecurity advocate within the organization by building a culture of security awareness, ensuring that cybersecurity is a priority at every level.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Communications, Education, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity awareness, training, or information security, focusing on employee engagement and training development.
• Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or other related certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Concepts: Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, including phishing, malware, social engineering, and compliance requirements. Ability to break down complex topics for non-technical audiences.
• Content Development Skills: Experience creating educational content, including multimedia presentations, videos, interactive e-learning courses, quizzes, and gamified training exercises, is preferred. Strong familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is also preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze training data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve awareness programs.
• Project Management Skills: Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—proven track record of delivering high-quality cybersecurity training initiatives.
• Remote Work Experience: Experience working in a fully remote environment, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate virtually. Must have reliable internet access and a home office setup conducive to working effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Compliance Frameworks: Familiarity with industry regulations and frameworks such as NIST, GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
• Technical Skills: It is beneficial to know cybersecurity tools, software, and technologies, including intrusion detection, firewalls, and SIEM platforms.
• Awareness Campaign Experience: Experience planning and managing successful cybersecurity awareness campaigns, including developing newsletters, posters, and other awareness materials to support organizational initiatives.
• Employee Engagement: Ability to motivate and engage employees to take an active role in cybersecurity. Experience using creative and innovative approaches to foster employee participation and retention of cybersecurity best practices.
