Position Overview:
The Remote Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and business intelligence needs.     • Monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and compliance with best practices.
  4. Collaboration and Integration:
    • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
    • Integrate data from various sources, such as APIs, third-party services, and on-premise systems.
    • Facilitate seamless communication between engineering teams and business units to align project objectives.
  5. Data Governance and Security:
    • Establish data governance standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access or breaches.

  7. Documentation and Best Practices:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data engineering with a focus on building and managing data pipelines and architectures.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Hands-on experience with database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks.

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes is a plus.
