As a Remote Deposition Transcriptionist with Naukri Mitra, you will be responsible for transcribing deposition proceedings with the highest level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities:

- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and clarity, ensuring they meet the established legal transcription standards.
- Verify accuracy by cross-referencing spellings of legal, medical, and technical terms and ensuring the correct identification of speakers.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive legal information in compliance with established regulations and protocols.
- Utilize transcription software and legal document management systems to produce well-organized and professional transcripts.
- Consistently meet assigned deadlines, managing multiple transcriptions and prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Clarify and verify unclear or ambiguous statements through communication with the legal team or reference materials.
- Ensure transcripts are formatted according to client or legal requirements, maintaining a consistent and organized style.
- Stay informed of changes in legal terminology and best practices in transcription to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Transcriptionist, preferably with a focus on deposition transcriptions.
- In-depth understanding of legal terminology, deposition procedures, and the judicial system.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling, to ensure high-quality transcriptions.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to accurately transcribe even complex and fast-paced legal discourse.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in dictated reports and correct them appropriately.
