Overview:
We seek an experienced and dynamic Digital Content Manager to join our growing team. As a Remote Digital Content Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brandโs digital presence by overseeing content creation, curation, and distribution across various digital platforms. Your mission will be to drive engagement, enhance user experience, and ultimately contribute to the growth and success of our brand in a competitive digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with our business objectives. This includes understanding target audiences, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Content Calendar Management: Create and manage a content calendar that ensures timely and consistent delivery of high-quality content across all digital platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other digital channels.
- SEO and Keyword Optimization: Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and ranking on search engines. Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure all content is optimized for search performance.
2. Content Creation and Management:
- Content Creation: Led and coordinated the creation of various types of content, including written articles, blog posts, white papers, case studies, infographics, videos, and podcasts.ย Work closely with writers, designers, videographers, and other content creators to ensure content meets brand standards and resonates with our target audience.
- Editorial Oversight: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, tone, and style. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice across platforms.
- Content Curation: We will identify, source, and curate relevant content from external sources to complement our original content and provide additional value to our audience.
3. Social Media Management:
- Platform Strategy: Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. As appropriate, manage the brandโs presence on major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
- Content Distribution: Plan and execute content distribution strategies tailored to each platform. Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Community Engagement: Foster and manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Engage with influencers and industry leaders to amplify the brandโs reach.
4. Performance Tracking and Analysis:
- Analytics and Reporting: Use tools to monitor and measure content performance across all digital platforms. Generate regular reports on content performance, including traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze data to identify trends and insights and use this information to optimize content strategies. Make informed recommendations for content improvements based on data analysis.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B testing on various content elements, such as headlines, images, and calls to action, to determine the most effective approaches for driving engagement and conversions.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including product, sales, and customer support, to ensure that content initiatives support overall business goals. Collaborate on product launches, campaigns, and other marketing activities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate content plans, strategies, and performance metrics to internal stakeholders. Gather feedback and adjust content strategies as needed.
6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital content management. Explore new tools, platforms, and techniques to enhance content creation and distribution.
- Content Innovation: Experiment with new content formats, storytelling techniques, and digital experiences to engage audiences innovatively. Propose and implement creative solutions to enhance the user experience.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve content processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Budget Management:
- Resource Allocation: Manage the content budget, including allocating resources for content creation, distribution, and promotion. Ensure that all content initiatives are cost-effective and deliver a strong return on investment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital content management, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
- Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Proficiency in SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

Compensation:
