Position Overview:

We seek a highly capable ERP Business Analyst to join our clients' remote team. The ideal candidate will analyze business requirements, design ERP solutions, and support implementing and optimizing ERP systems. As a key team member, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that ERP solutions effectively address business needs and contribute to overall operational efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting transformation projects and enhancing the capabilities of the ERP system to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Analysis & Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for ERP solutions. Understand current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate them into ERP system requirements.
  • ERP Implementation Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the planning, configuration, and deployment of ERP systems. Ensure that all ERP implementation processes are aligned with the business needs and organizational goals.
  • Business Process Optimization: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements using the ERP system. Ensure that the ERP solution aligns with best practices and delivers optimal value to the business.
  • Customization & Configuration: I will assist in configuring and customizing ERP modules to meet specific business needs. I will also work with the technical team to design and develop custom features that enhance ERP functionality.
  • Data Analysis & Migration: I assist with data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, and validation. I analyze data to support decision-making and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
  • Training & User Support: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support to users by addressing system-related issues and troubleshooting problems to ensure efficient use of the ERP system.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the ERP system meets business requirements. Identify and report any issues and work with the technical team to resolve them before the system goes live.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across departments, including finance, operations, and IT, to understand their business needs and provide ERP-related insights and recommendations. Facilitate discussions to ensure that expectations are aligned.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business process flows, functional requirements, technical specifications, and user guides. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible for future reference.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with ERP trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Continuously look for opportunities to enhance the ERP system and its integration with other business applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in ERP systems or Business Analysis is an advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience as an ERP Business Analyst or in a similar role involving ERP implementation and support is highly desirable. Experience working with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is also highly desirable.
  • ERP Expertise: Strong knowledge of ERP systems, including their functionalities, configuration, and implementation processes. Experience in ERP system customization and integration is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to assess business processes, identify gaps, and recommend effective solutionsโ€”proficiency in using data analysis tools and working with large datasets.
  • Project Management: Experience managing ERP projects or working on an ERP implementation team. Ability to track timelines, manage resources, and ensure successful project delivery. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to explain complex ERP concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL for querying and extracting data from ERP databases. Understanding of system integration, APIs, and data migration processes.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding creative solutions to overcome challenges during ERP implementation and optimization projects.
  • Remote Work Experience: Experience working remotely or with distributed teams is a plus. The candidate should be comfortable using collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, or Microsoft Teams to stay connected and engaged with the team.
