Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Functional Analyst at Naukri Mitra's client organization, you will be crucial in bridging the gap between business requirements and technology solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders, clients, and end-users to understand their business needs, analyze requirements, and develop a comprehensive understanding of desired system functionalities.
2. Functional Analysis and Documentation: Develop detailed documentation that outlines functional requirements, process flows, and system design specifications. Translate complex business processes into clearly articulated technical requirements for development teams.
3. Solution Design and Validation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and business stakeholders, to define and validate feasible, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
4. Process Improvement: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency enhancement, and automation. Propose changes that deliver business value and align with organizational goals.
5. User Support and Training: To ensure a successful project implementation, we will support users and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. We will assist with system testing, user training, and change management activities.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that system functionalities align with requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the testing phase.
7. Data Analysis: Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement. Work with key stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights that support business decisions.
8. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding between different functions. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
9. Continuous Improvement: Monitor the system’s performance and gather user feedback to improve functionality and usability. Proactively suggest system modifications to support evolving business needs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Remote Functional Analyst, the ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in business analysis (such as CBAP) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in functional analysis, business analysis, or a similar role. Prior experience working in a remote environment or collaborating with distributed teams is preferred.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, business process modeling, and system integration. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other project management and collaboration platforms is beneficial.
