What You’ll Be Working On
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core gameplay systems and interactive features using industry-standard engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Collaborate with game designers, artists, and audio engineers to build innovative experiences that feel intuitive and exciting.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with strong documentation
- Optimize game performance across multiple platforms, including desktop, mobile, and console
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining high frame rates and seamless user experiences
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to conceptualize game features, mechanics, and progression systems
- Continuously integrate player feedback into iterative development cycles to enhance gameplay
Creative Collaboration
You’ll be a core part of a multidisciplinary team that includes illustrators, sound designers, and narrative developers. Your insight will help shape everything from interface responsiveness to boss battle mechanics.
Agile Development Practices
We follow agile methodologies, with weekly sprints, daily standups, and regular retrospectives. You’ll use tools like Jira, Git, and Notion to stay organized and connected with your teammates worldwide.
Tools & Tech You’ll Use
Game Engines & Languages
- Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++)
- Godot for lighter, stylized indie projects
- Lightweight programming languages like Lua and Python are used to script in-game functionalities.
DevOps & Version Control
- Git and GitHub for source control and code reviews
- Continuous integration and deployment workflows to streamline builds and quality assurance
- Unity Cloud Build and Jenkins for deployment automation
Collaboration Tools
- Slack for async team conversations
- Miro for collaborative whiteboarding and flowcharting
- Figma and Blender for UI/UX prototyping and 3D asset integration

What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in game development or interactive media
- Strong proficiency with game engines (preferably Unity or Unreal)
- Deep understanding of gameplay loops, physics, animation systems, and user interfaces
- Solid grasp of 3D mathematics and spatial algorithms
- Ability to write modular, testable, and well-architected code
- Experience debugging performance and memory issues on multiple platforms
- Familiarity with mobile and console deployment pipelines
Preferred but Not Mandatory
- Experience with shader programming and particle systems
- VR/AR development exposure (OpenXR, WebXR)
- Understanding of monetization systems and player progression
- Knowledge of procedural generation or AI-based gameplay systems
- Passion for indie games and experimental mechanics
