Position Overview: We seek a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Grant Application Reviewer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will review, evaluate, and provide comprehensive feedback on grant applications submitted by organizations seeking funding. As a crucial part of our grant administration process, you will ensure that applications align with established guidelines, criteria, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Review:
- Evaluate grant applications to ensure they meet the specific criteria and guidelines set forth by funding programs.
- Analyze applications for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with funding priorities.
- Assess proposed projects' or initiatives' clarity, feasibility, and potential impact.
- Assessment and Scoring:
- Utilize established scoring rubrics and evaluation tools to assess the merit of each application.
- Provide objective, detailed evaluations and scores based on predefined criteria and standards.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in the review process, maintaining high-quality and unbiased assessments.
- Feedback and Recommendations:
- Prepare comprehensive written feedback for each application, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Offer constructive recommendations to applicants to enhance their proposals or address identified gaps.
- Communicate feedback to applicants in a clear, professional, and supportive manner.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with grant program managers, coordinators, and other reviewers to ensure that the reviewers' recommendations align with the program's goals and standards.
- Participate in virtual meetings and discussions to discuss application evaluations and review outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to address any issues or concerns related to the review process.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all reviewed applications, scores, and feedback.
- Compile and submit regular reports on the status and outcomes of the grant review process.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive applicant information.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about best practices and developments in grant review and evaluation.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of review processes, guidelines, and evaluation tools.
- Provide insights and suggestions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the grant review process.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications related to grant management are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, grant management, or a related field. Experience in reviewing or evaluating grant applications is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex proposals objectively.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using online grant management systems and software.

- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams.
Working Conditions:
- This remote position allows you to work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
- Flexibility in work hours is available, but deadlines must be met as per the grant review schedule.
