Position Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Grant Evaluation Analyst to join our team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of grant-funded programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong program evaluation, data analysis, and grant management background. Key Responsibilities:
- Grant Evaluation and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of grant-funded programs to assess their effectiveness and impact.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks and methodologies tailored to specific grant programs.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to measure program performance and outcomes.
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports with actionable recommendations for program improvement.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect, manage, and analyze data related to grant-funded projects using statistical tools and software.
- Create and maintain databases to track program metrics, progress, and outcomes.
- Develop and present reports to internal and external stakeholders, including funders and program managers.
- Program Assessment and Improvement:
- Identify areas for program enhancement based on evaluation findings and data analysis.
- Work closely with program managers and grant recipients to provide insights and recommendations for program improvements.
- Assist in developing strategies to address any identified gaps or challenges in grant programs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with grant recipients, program staff, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and ensure accurate evaluation.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to discuss evaluation findings and recommendations with key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to grant recipients on evaluation best practices and reporting requirements.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that evaluation practices and methodologies adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Review and validate evaluation data and reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Monitor compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements to maintain program integrity.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in program evaluation and grant management.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to evaluation and analysis.
- Contribute to developing internal evaluation policies and procedures to improve overall evaluation processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Public Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program evaluation, grant management, or a related field. Experience in a remote work environment is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficient in statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., SPSS, R, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and findings.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience with grant reporting and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
Work Environment:
