Position Overview: The Remote Hiring Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of talent acquisition, and the ability to manage a team of recruiters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hiring across various functions and levels, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy Development:
    • Design and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various roles across the organization.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create tailored recruitment plans.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure our hiring processes are competitive and efficient.
  2. Talent Acquisition:
    • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing offer negotiations.
    • Utilize various channels and tools to identify and engage with potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
    • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  3. Team Management:
    • Supervise and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    • Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the recruiting team, and regularly review their progress.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting team cohesion and productivity.
  4. Candidate Experience:
    • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
    • Provide timely feedback to candidates and maintain clear communication regarding their application status.
    • Implement best practices for candidate engagement and improve the overall recruitment process based on feedback and metrics.
  5. Compliance and Reporting:
    • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate interactions.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
  6. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Participate in strategic planning meetings to provide insights on talent acquisition trends and challenges.
    • Act as a liaison between the organization and external recruiting partners, including agencies and job boards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the full-cycle recruitment process and achieving hiring goals.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a remote team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
