Position Overview:
We seek an experienced Remote HR Business Analyst who will analyze human resource processes, develop solutions to improve HR operations and provide strategic recommendations to optimize workforce planning. As a Remote HR Business Analyst, you will work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, develop data-driven insights, and drive improvements to HR systems and processes. This role provides the flexibility of remote work and requires a high level of initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for HR systems and process enhancements.
- Develop functional and technical documentation that outlines HR system requirements, including employee onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and talent management.
- Conduct detailed analysis of HR data, including employee performance, workforce demographics, and attrition rates, to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and optimizing HR systems and software, ensuring alignment with business needs and HR best practices.
- Develop data-driven insights and reports to support decision-making, workforce planning, and talent management strategies.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure the integration and interoperability of HR systems with other business systems.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that system changes meet business requirements and function as intended.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reporting tools to provide insights into HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in developing employee engagement initiatives by gathering feedback, analyzing survey data, and making actionable recommendations.
- Provide recommendations on improving employee experience, retention, and engagement through data analysis and strategic insights.
- Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation to ensure the successful delivery of HR initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to help stakeholders understand new HR processes, systems, and changes.
- Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and other business functions to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the HR domain.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including employee onboarding, talent management, performance management, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Proficiency in HR systems and software, such as Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, HR Information Systems (HRIS), or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate HR data and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HR software implementation projects, including system design and testing.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) are a plus.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms.
- Knowledge of employee engagement strategies and change management practices.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives and methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
