Job Description:
As a Remote HR Generalist, you will handle various human resources activities, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to fill open positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and hiring strategies.
- Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and candidate communications.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation programs.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
- Provide new employees with resources and support for a smooth transition.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Address workplace issues and conflicts with professionalism and discretion.
- Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives.
- Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational standards.
- Conducted audits to maintain HR records and ensure adherence to regulations.
- Performance Management:
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
- Develop tools and resources for goal setting and performance tracking.
- Identify opportunities for employee development and training.
- Benefits Administration:
- Coordinate employee benefits programs, including enrollment and updates.
- Guide benefit offerings and address employee inquiries.
- Assist in managing leave policies and tracking usage.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate regular reports.
- Analyze trends in key HR metrics and propose improvements.
- Present insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs.
- Develop resources to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend enhancements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CIPD are an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR generalist roles or related positions.
- Proven track record of managing multiple HR functions effectively.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
