Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Address and resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by supporting employee engagement and morale.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration into the company.
- Compliance and Policy Administration:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and company objectives.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Employee Benefits and Compensation:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues, and ensure timely and accurate benefits enrollment and changes.
- Support compensation administration, including salary reviews, job evaluations, and market comparisons.
- Performance Management:
- Support performance management processes by guiding managers and employees through goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and professional development initiatives.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees.
- Develop and deliver training programs on various HR topics, including compliance, management skills, and employee relations.
- HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to management on HR-related activities and outcomes.
- HR Systems and Administration:
- Utilize HR information systems (HRIS) to manage employee data, track HR activities, and streamline HR processes.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of employee information and HR records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a remote or virtual environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, remote setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certification is a plus.
