Position Overview: We seek a skilled and dedicated Remote HRIS Coordinator to manage and optimize our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of HRIS functions, including data management, system configuration, and user support. As a Remote HRIS Coordinator, you will collaborate with HR teams, IT departments, and other stakeholders to enhance HR processes and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- HRIS System Management:
- Oversee the administration of the HRIS, including system configuration, data entry, and maintenance.
- By regularly reviewing and auditing data entries and system processes, you can ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of HRIS data.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements in coordination with IT and HR teams to improve functionality and efficiency.
- User Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and support requests from HR team members and employees.
- Provide training and guidance to HR staff and end-users on system functionalities, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and update user documentation and training materials to support ongoing education and system usage.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Generate and analyze HRIS reports to support decision-making and strategic planning, including reports on employee demographics, turnover rates, and other key HR metrics.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards as needed to meet specific business requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, working with IT support as needed to resolve technical problems.
- Compliance and Data Privacy:
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies regarding HR data management and system usage.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee data, adhering to data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Regularly review and update HRIS policies and procedures to reflect regulations and changes in organizational needs.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the HRIS and related HR functions, recommending and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and integrate the HRIS with other systems as needed.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Coordinate project activities, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure completion.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to HRIS processes, configurations, and user activities.
- Ensure proper record-keeping for audits and compliance purposes, including maintaining system logs and data backups.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, or HRIS certifications) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with HRIS systems, including system administration, data management, and user support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP), MS Office Suite, and data reporting tools. Experience with SQL or other querying languages is beneficial.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in data management and reporting.
