Job Description:

Naukri Mitra, a prominent recruitment agency, seeks our client's dedicated and experienced Remote Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst. Role Overview:

As a Remote IAM Analyst, you will manage user identities, entitlements, and permissions within the organization. You will work closely with IT and security teams to ensure that access is granted appropriately and that systems are secured against unauthorized access. The successful candidate will understand IAM tools, best practices, and regulatory compliance requirements. You will implement identity governance and administration solutions, manage user access reviews, and contribute to identity lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access Management involves Administering and managing user identities and access privileges across various systems, ensuring users have appropriate access rights based on their roles.
• Identity Governance: To ensure compliance with organizational policies, implement identity governance practices, including access reviews and certification processes.
• User Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of user identities, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring timely and appropriate access to systems and data.
• IAM Solutions Maintenance: Manage and maintain IAM tools and solutions, including provisioning, de-provisioning, role-based access control, and identity federation.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, enforce, and maintain IAM policies, standards, and guidelines to protect sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, and other business units to ensure IAM processes align with business needs and are effectively implemented.
• Incident Response: Investigate IAM-related security incidents and work to mitigate risk and address vulnerabilities, ensuring that systems remain secure against unauthorized access.
• Audit Support: I will support internal and external audits, including maintaining documentation and providing necessary reports related to IAM processes.
• Role Management: Establish and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) structures, ensuring users have the least privileged access required to perform their roles.
• Automation and Efficiency: Look for opportunities to automate IAM processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors in identity management tasks.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve IAM processes, including analyzing system activity, identifying anomalies, and implementing best practices for enhanced security.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in an IAM analyst or related cybersecurity role.
• Technical Skills: Strong experience with IAM tools, such as Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or CyberArk. Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, identity federation, role-based access control, and IAM best practices.
• Security Principles: Good understanding of IAM-related security standards, including least privilege, segregation of duties, and zero trust architecture.
• Compliance and Governance: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX, relating to identity and access management.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot IAM issues and develop practical solutions to enhance identity security.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document IAM processes and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or CIAM (Certified Identity and Access Manager) are preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in access assignments and adherence to organizational policies.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud IAM: Experience with IAM in cloud environments, such as AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, or Google Identity Platform.
• Scripting Experience: Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python to automate identity and access management processes.
• Experience with Directory Services: Understanding LDAP, Active Directory, and their integration with IAM solutions.
• Identity Federation: Experience implementing identity federation protocols, such as SAML, OAuth, or OpenID Connect.
