Key Responsibilities: Legal Leadership with Purpose
Strategic Legal Guidance
- Provide daily counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and contracts with an eye toward risk management and ethical excellence.
- Analyze, prepare, and facilitate legal agreements, such as vendor contracts, NDAs, licensing, partnership agreements, and employment-related documents.
Employment & Regulatory Compliance
- Advise HR and leadership on employment law matters, including remote work policies, internal investigations, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor changes in laws affecting business operations and proactively update policies to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
- Oversee intellectual property management, including trademarks and copyrights.
- Implement robust confidentiality policies that support innovation and protect sensitive data.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation
- Anticipate potential legal challenges and present thoughtful, practical solutions.
- Coordinate with external counsel as needed to manage litigation or specialized issues.

Required Qualifications: Expertise Rooted in Empathy
