Key Responsibilities: Legal Leadership with Purpose

Strategic Legal Guidance

• Provide daily counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and contracts with an eye toward risk management and ethical excellence.
• Analyze, prepare, and facilitate legal agreements, such as vendor contracts, NDAs, licensing, partnership agreements, and employment-related documents.

Employment & Regulatory Compliance

• Advise HR and leadership on employment law matters, including remote work policies, internal investigations, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor changes in laws affecting business operations and proactively update policies to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Intellectual Property & Confidentiality

• Oversee intellectual property management, including trademarks and copyrights.
• Implement robust confidentiality policies that support innovation and protect sensitive data.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation

• Anticipate potential legal challenges and present thoughtful, practical solutions.
• Coordinate with external counsel as needed to manage litigation or specialized issues.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum 5 years of legal practice, including in-house or corporate experience

• Strong writing and negotiation skills with an emphasis on clarity and fairness
• Comfort with remote legal tech platforms and digital collaboration
