Position Summary:
Naukri Mitra is seeking an experienced Remote IT Strategy and Planning Consultant to provide strategic direction and ensure effective implementation of IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will align IT strategies with business goals, assess existing technology infrastructure, and help companies optimize their systems to improve efficiency and productivity. This strategic role involves a combination of technical understanding, business acumen, and leadership to guide organizations through technological transformations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop IT Strategies: Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop IT strategies that align with long-term organizational goals. This includes formulating roadmaps for technology implementation and ensuring business-IT alignment.
• Conduct Assessments: Analyze the current IT environment, identify gaps, and recommend improving processes, technologies, and overall efficiency. Conduct assessments of IT infrastructure, policies, and practices to determine areas of improvement.
• Technology Planning: Lead the planning, implementation, and integration of IT systems, solutions, and software based on the business's needs. This involves ensuring the company uses the right technologies to stay competitive and meet future demands.
• Provide Expert Guidance: Expert advice to senior leadership on using emerging technologies, including evaluating new tools, software, and industry trends that could benefit the business. Help clients make informed decisions about technological investments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders from different departments to understand requirements and ensure IT initiatives meet current and future business needs. Facilitate open communication channels between IT and business teams.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate IT risks, identify vulnerabilities, and work with leadership to develop strategies that mitigate potential risks. Provide recommendations to enhance IT security, data management, and regulation compliance.
• Project Leadership: Lead the development of IT projects, from initial planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Establish a clear framework for project governance, resource allocation, and status monitoring.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor the performance of IT systems and processes and recommend improvements as needed. Drive a culture of constant innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage technology for organizational growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT strategy, planning, or consulting roles. Previous experience working as an IT consultant or advisor is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, systems integration, and emerging technology trends. Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity frameworks, and enterprise-level IT management.
• Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals. Strong background in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into actionable IT initiatives.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and information to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable way.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems and think critically. Capable of evaluating situations, making data-driven recommendations, and implementing solutions effectively.
• Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience in managing projects, teams, and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks.
• Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a remote environment while being proactive and adaptable to changing priorities and business needs. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to deadlines.
• Certifications: PMP, ITIL, COBIT, or other relevant IT certifications are preferred.
