Job Overview:
The Remote Junior Business Analyst will assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including project managers, business users, and technical teams, to support the development of efficient business solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Assist in gathering business requirements through stakeholder interactions, interviews, and workshops.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements clearly and concisely to support project development.
- Ensure that requirements are appropriately communicated to stakeholders and development teams and align with business objectives.
- Business Process Analysis
- Assist in analyzing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, or opportunities for improvement.
- Create business process flowcharts, diagrams, and models to help stakeholders visualize the current and desired future state.
- Contribute to the development of process improvement recommendations and solutions.
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Perform fundamental data analysis to support decision-making and problem-solving efforts within projects.
- Assist in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help stakeholders understand key metrics and trends.
- Support the preparation of presentations for stakeholders, providing insights into business performance and project progress.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with project managers, developers, testers, and business users to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and address questions or concerns.
- Assist in coordinating communication between business units and technical teams, acting as a bridge to ensure that business needs are understood and translated into technical specifications.
- Testing and Validation Support
- Assist in developing test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that developed solutions meet the needs of the business.
- Validate that implemented solutions align with business requirements and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
- Document testing results and work with the development team to address any identified gaps or defects.
- Continuous Improvement and Learning
- Stay updated on the latest business analysis tools, techniques, and industry best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and certifications to grow as a business analyst.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing business analysis processes and methodologies to add value to the team and projects.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous internship or work experience in business analysis, project coordination, or data analysis is a plus. Fresh graduates with a passion for business analysis are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: A basic understanding of business analysis tools and methodologies is desirable. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar is desirable.
