Job Description:

As a Remote Junior Cloud Engineer, you will contribute to developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based systems. This role requires a proactive individual with foundational cloud knowledge, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation, scalability, and security of cloud services, working under the mentorship of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: I assist in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based infrastructure across various platforms, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and security compliance.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues in cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption to system operations.
• Automation: Support the development and implementation of automation tools to streamline cloud operations, deployments, and management tasks.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of cloud configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Security Compliance: I will assist in implementing cloud security best practices, including managing permissions, monitoring access, and ensuring data privacy.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Knowledge:
  • Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Basic understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn new technologies and keep up with advancements in cloud computing.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
