Position Overview:
We are searching for a highly skilled and dynamic Lead Business Analyst to join our client’s team in a remote capacity. As the Lead Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of business operations and initiatives. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and clients, to gather requirements, analyze processes, and develop solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires strong leadership abilities, effective communication, and exceptional analytical skills to navigate complex projects and deliver valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of business analysts to ensure high-quality performance, productivity, and professional growth.
• Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to effectively identify, document, and communicate business requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data, translating it into actionable business insights.
• Develop and refine business processes to improve operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and align business operations with organizational objectives.
• Provide expertise in conducting feasibility studies, gap analyses, risk assessments, and other related activities to facilitate project planning and implementation.
• Design and implement process improvements to support business needs, using relevant methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
• Assist in creating detailed business requirements documentation, user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and other supporting materials.
• Lead workshops, meetings, and discussions to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the project management team to define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support testing efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and system integration testing (SIT), to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, management, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements, and share insights and recommendations with the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Proven experience in leading a team of business analysts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in business analysis methodologies, requirement elicitation, and process mapping.
• Experience managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring all requirements are met within budget and on schedule.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proficiency in using analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or similar software.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to determine which methodology best suits each project.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical and non-technical information to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to properly track requirements, project progress, and deliverables.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, clients, and team members.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) are advantageous.
