Overview:
As a Remote Learning and Development Coordinator, you will be pivotal in shaping and enhancing employees' professional growth and development across various teams and functions. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing educational programs that drive organizational performance, align with business goals, and foster a culture of continuous learning. You will work closely with various departments, managers, and subject matter experts to identify skill gaps, recommend training solutions, and create curricula tailored to diverse learner needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Development:
- Develop and design various learning and development programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, soft skills, and compliance training.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and craft content that addresses skills gaps within teams and departments.
- Research and apply modern instructional design methodologies (e.g., microlearning, blended learning) to ensure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Incorporate diverse learning mediums (videos, podcasts, live sessions, e-learning modules) to enhance engagement and retention.
- Learning Needs Assessment:
- Regular learning needs assessments, which involve surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations, are conducted to determine where training is required.
- Utilize assessment data to develop targeted training initiatives that align with organizational priorities and employee development goals.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of implemented programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitation and Coordination:
- Coordinate and facilitate virtual and live training sessions for employees at all levels using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or other learning management systems (LMS).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all learning and development-related inquiries.
- Schedule and manage training calendars, ensuring employees know about upcoming programs and have the resources needed to participate.
- Manage logistics for virtual training events, including registration, tracking participation, and post-session follow-up.
- Content Creation and Curation:
- Create engaging, accessible learning materials, including presentations, workbooks, videos, and assessments that cater to different learning styles and are tailored to remote employees.
- Continuously update training content to ensure relevance to current industry standards, company needs, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate and reflective of the latest developments in their respective fields.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
- Oversee the administration of the LMS, including uploading courses, tracking employee progress, and generating reports on training completion.
- Ensure all training modules and courses are accessible, well-organized, and user-friendly.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with the LMS and support employees navigating the platform.
- Performance and Reporting:
- Track the effectiveness of training initiatives by collecting and analyzing feedback from participants.
- Measure the impact of training on performance metrics, including productivity, engagement, and employee satisfaction.
- Report training outcomes and insights to HR leadership, using data to recommend future initiatives and demonstrate the ROI of learning programs.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Partner with HR, department heads, and leadership teams to ensure training programs are aligned with strategic business goals and employee performance objectives.
- Build strong relationships with external vendors and consultants to source and implement specialized training solutions.
- Stay updated on best practices and industry trends in learning and development and bring innovative ideas to the team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly assess the overall learning and development strategy and recommend continuous improvements.
- Foster a lifelong learning and development culture by promoting opportunities for professional growth, coaching, and mentorship.
- Lead the effort to identify and implement new learning technologies or tools to improve program delivery and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in instructional design and content development for adult learners.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in learning management systems (LMS) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Experience in delivering and facilitating training sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to assess training needs, collect and analyze data, and report outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to create engaging content.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong time-management and self-motivation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Certifications in Learning and Development, such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or SHRM-CP.
- Experience with e-learning development tools like Articulate 360, Captivate, or other authoring software.
- Knowledge of emerging trends in remote learning, such as gamification, virtual reality, or AI-driven training solutions.
