Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Remote Learning and Development Coordinator to join our team. This position is vital for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in adult learning principles, instructional design, and technology-based training solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify training needs and learning objectives across various departments.
- Design and develop engaging, high-quality training materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and assessment tools.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies to create a curriculum that is interactive and meets the diverse learning styles of employees.
- Training Delivery:
- Facilitate virtual training sessions, workshops, and webinars, ensuring an engaging and participatory learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing support to employees during the training process, addressing questions and offering guidance as needed.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
- Manage the company’s Learning Management System, ensuring content is up-to-date, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Track and report on employee training progress, completion rates, and overall engagement with learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Regularly review and assess training programs, using data-driven insights to make necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze skills gaps to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with HR and departmental leaders to ensure training aligns with organizational priorities and supports employee growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with employees to promote training opportunities and encourage participation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external training vendors and resources to enhance program offerings.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports to keep stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
- Identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans to ensure the successful execution of training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in learning and development, training, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in measuring training effectiveness and ROI.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with remote training delivery tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Knowledge of current trends in workplace learning, such as microlearning and blended learning approaches.
- Certification in instructional design or training (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.
