Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Remote Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This role is integral in designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in adult learning principles, and instructional design, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Training Needs Analysis
    • Collaborate with department heads and team leads to identify training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
    • Analyze current skills and knowledge gaps within teams to tailor training programs effectively.
  2. Curriculum Development
    • Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including e-learning modules, instructional guides, and multimedia content.
    • Ensure all materials are aligned with company goals, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
    • Utilize various instructional methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  3. Program Implementation
    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars using virtual platforms.
    • Manage logistics for remote training, including scheduling, technology setup, and participant communication.
    • Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment to enhance participant engagement.
  4. Evaluation and Feedback
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
    • Conduct follow-up evaluations to measure the long-term impact of training on employee performance and productivity.
    • Revise and improve training programs based on feedback and evaluation results.
  5. Continuous Improvement
    • Stay current with the latest trends in adult learning theory, instructional design, and educational technology.
    • Recommend and implement best practices to enhance the learning experience and drive employee development.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in the field.
  6. Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of learning and development across the organization.
    • Communicate training objectives, content, and outcomes clearly to all stakeholders.
    • Support managers in mentoring and coaching employees to reinforce learning and application of new skills.
  7. Reporting and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and program outcomes.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for management on training effectiveness and strategic recommendations.
    • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and regulatory requirements related to training and development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and evaluation techniques.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
