Remote Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst
Position Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Remote Learning Management System (LMS) Analyst to join our team. This role is crucial for efficiently managing, optimizing, and enhancing our LMS. The ideal candidate will oversee the LMS's daily operations, ensuring it meets users' needs and aligns with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- LMS Administration:
- Manage and maintain the Learning Management System, including user accounts, course content, and system settings.
- Ensure the LMS runs efficiently and effectively, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Configure system settings to align with organizational policies and user needs.
- User Support and Training:
- Support end-users, including troubleshooting issues, answering queries, and providing guidance on system use.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for users to enhance their understanding and utilization of the LMS.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to LMS processes and user guides.
- Content Management:
- Oversee the creation, upload, and organization of course content within the LMS.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to ensure that materials are correctly formatted, tagged, and accessible.
- Monitor content performance and user feedback to make recommendations for improvements.
- System Integration and Optimization:
- Identify and implement integration opportunities between the LMS and other organizational systems or tools.
- Monitor system performance and generate reports to track usage, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Work with IT and development teams to address any system issues or enhancements.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the LMS complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to maintain system data, content integrity, and accuracy.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive information and user privacy.
- Project Management:
- Lead or participate in LMS-related projects, including system upgrades, new feature implementations, and process improvements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
- Communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to LMS and e-learning.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the LMS and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to drive system improvements and ensure alignment with user needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems, including administration and support.
- Strong understanding of LMS platforms and e-learning technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Experience with system integrations, content management, and project management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Salary:
The annual salary for this position is USD 102,850.
