Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Remote Learning Program Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading and managing the development, implementation, and evaluation of our remote learning programs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in education and project management, capable of driving the success of our remote learning initiatives and enhancing the educational experience for our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Development and Management:
    • Lead the design, development, and execution of remote learning programs and courses, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and educational standards.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to create engaging and effective learning materials and experiences.
    • Oversee the implementation of new learning technologies and platforms, including virtual classrooms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other digital tools.
  2. Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop detailed project plans for remote learning initiatives, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of program components and address any issues or challenges that arise.
    • Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and report on outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
  3. Quality Assurance and Evaluation:
    • Establish and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of remote learning programs.
    • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of program effectiveness, learner satisfaction, and overall impact.
    • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations for program improvements and enhancements.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding remote learning programs, providing expert guidance and support as needed.
    • Foster strong relationships with educators, learners, and technology partners to promote collaboration and ensure the success of learning initiatives.
    • Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and webinars to support stakeholder engagement and program adoption.
  5. Innovation and Research:
    • Stay current with emerging trends, best practices, and technological advancements in remote learning and educational technology.
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and integrate new approaches to enhance the effectiveness and appeal of remote learning programs.
    • Conduct research and pilot new tools, methodologies, and strategies to continuously improve program offerings and learner outcomes.
  6. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to program development, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Prepare and manage budgets for remote learning projects, ensuring effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and organizational policies related to remote learning and data security.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in managing remote learning programs, instructional design, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of remote learning technologies and methodologies.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute complex project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating program effectiveness and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other remote learning technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement new strategies to enhance remote learning experiences.
