Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Remote Learning Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educational technology and possess the skills to design, implement, and manage effective remote learning solutions. As a Remote Learning Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the learning experience for students and educators by leveraging technology to create engaging and interactive online educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Design and Development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to develop and enhance online courses and learning materials.
   • Apply best practices in instructional design to create engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
   • Utilize multimedia tools and technology to create high-quality course content, including videos, quizzes, and interactive elements.
2. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:
   • Manage and maintain the LMS, ensuring that courses are properly configured, accessible, and functioning as intended.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the LMS, including user access problems and technical glitches.
   • Conduct regular updates and improvements to the LMS to enhance functionality and user experience.
3. Student and Educator Support:
   • Provide technical support and guidance to students and educators using remote learning platforms.
   • Develop and deliver training sessions and webinars to help users effectively utilize remote learning tools and resources.
   • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to remote learning experiences in a timely and professional manner.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
   • Monitor and analyze data related to student performance, engagement, and satisfaction to assess the effectiveness of remote learning programs.
   • Generate and present reports on key metrics and trends, providing actionable insights to inform continuous improvement efforts.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement and implement data-driven strategies to optimize learning outcomes.
5. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
   • Conduct regular reviews of course content and delivery methods to ensure alignment with instructional goals and standards.
   • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in remote learning and educational technology, and incorporate new approaches as appropriate.
   • Solicit feedback from students, educators, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
6. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.
   • Develop project plans, including timelines and milestones, to guide the development and implementation of remote learning initiatives.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and managing remote learning programs or online courses.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices for online education.
• Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools.
• Excellent technical skills, including experience with multimedia creation and editing software.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage projects and work independently in a remote environment.
• A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

• Certification in instructional design or educational technology.
