Key Responsibilities
Lead a Remote Team of Loan Processors
- Direct daily workflows across a team of remote loan processors
- Monitor productivity and track performance metrics through cloud-based dashboards
- Provide mentorship, training, and coaching to improve individual and team performance
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets and ensure alignment with broader business goals
Oversee Loan File Integrity
- Review submitted loan files for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with the underwriting and closing departments to prevent bottlenecks.
- Escalate and resolve issues relating to incomplete documentation or client miscommunication.
- Ensure loan applications follow standard loan origination system (LOS) protocols.
Enhance Processing Through Digital Tools
- To manage workflows, utilize integrated software such as Encompass, Blend, and LOS platforms.
- Generate automated reports for data insights and trends
- Leverage digital document collection platforms to streamline operations
- Introduce process enhancements that leverage fintech solutions
Maintain Compliance and Regulatory Standards
- Stay updated on federal and state lending regulations
- Ensure loan processors adhere to all guidelines during document verification and submission
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in mortgage laws or policies
Tools & Technologies
Platform Experience
- Strong experience with Encompass or similar LOS software
- Comfortable navigating CRMs and cloud-based document management platforms
- Proficiency in remote communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams
Data Reporting & Analytics
- Work with BI dashboards to analyze loan cycle times, conversion rates, and funding errors.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies using real-time data visualization
- Report key processing KPIs to senior leadership monthly
Cybersecurity & Data Integrity
- Adhere to data protection policies and ensure client data is securely managed.
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA, where applicable
