Job Description:
Naukri Mitra is seeking a skilled and dedicated Remote Manufacturing IT Consultant to provide expert technical guidance to our manufacturing clients. The successful candidate will help implement and optimize IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline production processes, and improve business outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultation and Strategy Development: We provide expert consultation to manufacturing clients to identify IT needs, develop strategies, and recommend tailored technology solutions. We also work closely with stakeholders to create IT roadmaps that align with business goals, focusing on efficiency, automation, and productivity.
  • Systems Implementation and Integration: Assist in the implementation and integration of manufacturing software systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: We offer remote technical support to resolve IT issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity. We also Troubleshoot problems related to hardware, software, network infrastructure, and manufacturing-specific technologies to optimize operations.
  • Digital Transformation Initiatives: Lead digital transformation initiatives by helping clients adopt Industry 4.0 technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Work closely with clients to enhance data collection, machine-to-machine communication, and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Process Optimization and Automation: Identify automation and process optimization opportunities within manufacturing operations. Assist clients in deploying technology solutions to automate production workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Use data analytics tools to analyze production data and derive actionable insights to improve productivity, reduce waste, and ensure quality control. Develop dashboards and reports to help clients understand key performance indicators and make informed decisions.
  • Training and Documentation: Provide training sessions for manufacturing teams to ensure proper usage of IT systems and technologies. Develop comprehensive documentation, user manuals, and operational procedures to support end users in efficiently utilizing IT resources.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in relevant areas such as PMP, ITIL, or CISSP are a plus.
  • Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting, preferably in the manufacturing industry. The candidate must also have experience implementing ERP, MES, or other manufacturing-specific software solutions.
