Job Overview:
The Market Research Team Lead will manage the team's day-to-day activities and provide actionable insights to support the organization's business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Market Research Initiatives:
- Plan, manage, and oversee market research projects, ensuring all activities align with business objectives.
- Develop research strategies to identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential areas for growth.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of market research analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance.

- Research Project Oversight:
- Design and implement qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gather relevant data and insights.
- Oversee all stages of research projects, from data collection to analysis and presentation, ensuring high-quality results.
- Data Analysis and Insights Generation:
- Analyze market data to extract meaningful insights and develop actionable recommendations for the business.
- Synthesize and present findings clearly and concisely to critical stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders:
- Work closely with cross-functional marketing, product development, and sales teams to understand their research needs.
- Ensure that research insights are used effectively to support strategic business decisions across the organization.
- Market and Competitive Intelligence:
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and landscape to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide market intelligence reports that support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Innovation and Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve research processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative research techniques.
- Vendor and Resource Management:
- Manage relationships with external research vendors and consultants to ensure the successful completion of outsourced projects.
- Oversee the research budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelorโs degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field is required. A Masterโs degree is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in market research or data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience managing remote teams is desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing teams. Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong analytical skills, including interpreting complex data and generating actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as SPSS, SAS, or other statistical software, is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple research projects concurrently and ensure timely delivery.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with survey design tools, statistical analysis software, and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of market research principles, methodologies, and best practices. Experience in B2B or B2C industries is preferred.
