Job Description:

Naukri Mitra is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Transcription Trainer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training programs for new and existing medical transcriptionists, focusing on the required medical knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
• Design training materials, presentations, and other resources to help learners grasp complex medical terminology and improve transcription speed and accuracy.
• Provide one-on-one and group training sessions through virtual platforms, ensuring that trainees understand and can apply the principles of medical transcription.
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, assignments, and transcription tests, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
• Mentor trainees, answering their questions, addressing concerns, and providing additional support to help them succeed.
• Update and maintain training content to reflect the latest trends and requirements in medical transcription, incorporating updated medical terms, healthcare standards, and regulations.
• Conduct mock transcription exercises to enhance trainees' practical skills. Focus on real-world scenarios that they are likely to encounter.
• Track trainees' progress throughout the training program and provide regular reports to management on their development and areas that need improvement.
• Promote a positive learning environment, fostering confidence, professionalism, and a commitment to quality work among trainees.
• Assist in the recruitment process by evaluating candidates for their potential aptitude in medical transcription.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical transcription, with extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare documentation standards.
• Prior experience training or mentoring medical transcriptionists in a formal or informal setting.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical terminology and transcription procedures clearly and effectively.
• In-depth understanding of various medical specialties and the ability to train individuals to transcribe medical records related to different fields, including cardiology, radiology, and internal medicine.
• Proficiency in transcription software and a good understanding of dictation systems and word processing tools.
• Ability to develop and adapt training materials to suit the diverse needs of trainees.
• Patience and a passion for teaching, with the ability to motivate trainees and support their learning journey.
• A certification in medical transcription is preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
