Key Responsibilities:

• Medical Transcription: Accurately transcribe ophthalmology-specific medical dictations, including patient histories, exam notes, diagnostic reports, and surgical procedures.
• Review and Editing: Proofread and edit transcribed documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical terminology standards and client requirements.
• Compliance: Ensure all transcriptions adhere to HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality protocols. Maintain the security of patient information at all times.
• Timely Delivery: Meet strict deadlines for completing transcriptions while maintaining high accuracy and quality.
• Terminology Expertise: Stay updated on ophthalmology medical terminology, including diagnoses, procedures, and medications. Conduct research when necessary to ensure the accuracy of unfamiliar terms.
• Collaboration: Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members to clarify unclear dictations or resolve record discrepancies.

Qualifications:
