About the Role:

As a Remote Pay Equity Analyst, you will be crucial in ensuring equitable pay practices within our organization. You will analyze and interpret compensation data to identify disparities and recommend solutions to enhance fairness and compliance with relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct comprehensive compensation data analyses to identify pay disparities across various demographics, including gender, race, and job function.
    • Develop and maintain detailed reports highlighting findings, trends, and recommendations for addressing pay equity issues.
    • Create and present clear and actionable insights to management, stakeholders, and HR teams.
  2. Data Management and Integrity:
    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of compensation data by validating and cross-referencing information from various sources.
    • Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
    • Regularly review and update compensation data and methodologies to reflect organizational changes and market conditions.
  3. Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Collaborate with HR and compensation teams to develop and implement pay equity policies and practices.
    • Assist in designing and refining compensation structures and strategies to support fair pay practices.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, legal requirements, and best practices related to pay equity and compensation management.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local pay equity and compensation regulations.
    • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to pay equity standards and identify potential risk areas.
    • Prepare documentation and reports for regulatory audits and inquiries.
  5. Stakeholder Communication and Training:
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on pay equity matters, providing guidance and support to HR, management, and employees.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions on pay equity principles and practices to increase awareness and understanding across the organization.
    • Address inquiries and concerns related to compensation and pay equity promptly and professionally.
  6. Project Management:
    • Lead or participate in special compensation and pay equity projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and data analysis initiatives.
    • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification in compensation or pay equity (e.g., CCP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in compensation analysis, pay equity, or a related field, with a strong understanding of compensation practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly and promptly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to pay equity and compensation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working remotely and managing time effectively in a virtual setting.
