Job Overview:
Naukri Mitra is looking for an experienced and results-driven Principal Business Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. This remote position requires an analytical mindset, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to provide strategic insights to facilitate informed decision-making. As a Principal Business Analyst, you will translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements, work closely with stakeholders, and drive the development of solutions that enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis Leadership: Lead the business analysis function, engaging stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. Act as a key advisor to management and business partners to ensure effective communication of requirements.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and company strategy. Translate complex business problems into clear and actionable requirements.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Use data-driven insights to support process improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and executive leadership. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to ensure a shared understanding of business objectives and project deliverables.
• Data Analysis: Develop and perform data analysis to support strategic initiatives. Use business intelligence tools to extract insights and provide recommendations that align with business goals.
• Solution Design: Partner with development teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business needs. Ensure solutions align with business strategy, comply with relevant standards, and deliver the intended business value.
• Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to new initiatives or projects. Develop training materials and documentation to assist with the successful rollout of new processes and technologies.
• Project Management Support: We help manage projects by defining their scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. We also monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Quality Assurance: Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs. Validate the quality of deliverables and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor junior business analysts, promoting team skill development and knowledge sharing. Help foster an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal-level role. Experience in managing large-scale projects and interacting with executive stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA) is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in using business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and other business intelligence tools. Understanding of data modeling, data analysis, and business process mapping.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey complex information understandably to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for deriving actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business operations and processes. Ability to balance technical knowledge with business insight to provide the best outcomes for stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity.
